Our purpose is to fulfill the Great Commandment and Great Commission given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To worship Almighty God, serve His only Son Jesus Christ, and bring all people to Him by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit. This is the core emphasis of our vision, mission, and values.---------------------------------------------------Our History: Our first Anglican Worship and Holy Communion was held on Palm Sunday, 2023 with Bishop Kevin Bond Allen, Diocese of Cascadia (ACNA, GAFCON) and Bishop Andudu Adam Elnail, Diocese of Kadugli, Sudan (GAFCON), present. Fr. Art Moore was appointed by both bishops to serve as "Priest in Charge" to form, nurture and organize our new parish founded by Sudanese immigrants to the Tri-Cities. Cornerstone parish was received into the Diocese of Cascadia on September 10, 2023 with the ordination of our first two deacons, Yousif Kori and Nabel Kori. ---------------------------------------------------Our Worship Services have the joyful flavor of our African roots but we are also richly connected to our Global Anglican brothers and sisters in Christ around the world (GAFCON).
